GYANA PEETAM – OUR MAIN PROJECT:

You are all aware that the Sanatana Dharma was in doldrums in the past 2500 years back when Lord Shiva took the avatar as Adi Sankara in 788 AD at Kaladi Kerala. He established Shanmatha to make the people disciplined and to follow our Vedic principles. Again Adisesha took the avtaar as Swami Ramanuja in 1017 AD at Sriperumbudur near Chennai. In 1199 AD Sri Madhvacharya was born at Velali near Udipi in the district of South Kanara in Karnataka. He was considered as incarnation of Vayu, the Wind-God.

There were many more Great Mahans in Bharat who have worked for the survival of Sanatana Dharma. Today Sanatana Dharma exists due to the efforts of the above Three Great Acharyas who established Vedas and Bhakthi marga.

As such it is our endeavour to construct a Vedic Research Centre in the name of GYANA PEETAM either in Nanganallur or in the surroundings. As per our rough estimate the land cost and construction of building will cost more than Rs. 1.5 Crores. In this activity we wish to have the involvement of all the asthikas(followers of Sri Sankara, Sri Ramanuja and Sri Madhvacharya).

Devotees can participate in our Gyana Peetam
Project in one of the following ways:

1. Kindly donate generously for purchase of land which may cost about 30 to 40 lakhs. Your small donations such as
5000 or 10,000 and above will help us in getting the plot. Your donations are exempted under section 80-G of Income Tax Act.

2. Interested devotee may donate a plot if available for divine purpose anywhere in Chennai or in suburban areas.

3. Please visit our above Web site and forward the message to your friends
